About Us

Founder: Dr. Gwen Angelica Agustin-Nodora

We unexpectedly lost our tribe leader, Dr. Gwen “Peaches” Agustin-Nodora in 2021.  Her loss is felt by many but the impact she made in each person is still present.  She continues to give her love unconditionally while her light shines brightly through each of us.  Dr. Gwen Agustin-Nodora founded YAS Queen in 2020, and she did not let a pandemic prevent her from creating, producing, and directing the very first retreat remotely. Her hope was to allow women to reflect, learn, and grow as a community of sisters. She wanted us to start the year with a renewed vigor of focus, self-love, and strength. She wanted us to set intentions that promote happiness and wellness for  ourselves.  All of our retreats are dedicated to our founder, the original YAS Queen, Peaches.

Executive Director: Grace Agustin

Grace was Gwen's right hand woman since the inception of YAS Queen. She was handed the baton by her sisters and is running in full force with it. Professionally, Grace has been an educator for over 15 years. She has worked with an assortment of students from kindergarten to college. She was dubbed Teacher of the Year in 2021 during a very challenging school year. Grace holds a multiple subject credential and a credential in special education. She also has an M. Ed in Education. She loves bringing JOY and positivity to all that come around her and is very proud of her role as executive director to YAS Queen. 

Director of Communications: Glenda Agustin

Dr. Glenda Agustin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and works as a physician caring for adults who are admitted to the hospital for varying ailments.  Before going into Medicine, she was a Special Education Teacher working with students from underserved communities.  From a young age, she had a strong desire to help others which led her to both her careers as a teacher and a physician.  After unexpectedly losing her sister, Dr. Gwen Agustin-Nodora the founder of YAS Queen, a new door was opened for Glenda.  Just as Gwen helped Glenda on her wellness journey, she wants to give that same support to other women.  She is excited to share her experiences and assist women on their wellness journey in discovering self-truths, increasing self-love, and finding inner peace and happiness. 

Director of Finance: Janet Agustin

Janet Agustin is a visionary and entrepreneur with an MBA from the University of California of Davis.  Janet started from humble beginnings but through her dedication, hard work, and resilience she grew her business in health care.  She is one of the few women in this industry, and she has achieved so much already with more to come. She is also a proud and loving mother of two sons, Andrew and Anthony.  Janet hopes to share her knowledge and experience with finance, business, and motherhood with other women so that they may find financial success in their side hustles, business, career, and investments.
